The tray did not match what was shown in pictures. I was supposed to receive a tray that looked like it had a lighter “bottom” with a contrasting “frame,” so I was disappointed to open it and see that the tray is all one dark color. I specifically purchased this because it’s evident in the photos that it’s a two-tone wooden tray. The bottom of the tray is a little rough and I’m afraid it would snag on furniture, so I’ll probably put a felt bottom on it. The shipping was fast and the engraving is great. I just wish the item was as-pictured.

This tray looked beautiful from the top. Upon taking it out of the box, there were small splinters where the screws were put in hastily. I got one in my hand. Perhaps the worst thing about the tray was the terrible odor of the finishing products used. The smell would not go away. I settled for a partial refund. This company has overall good reviews so I feel this does not happen often. It was just a bad experience for me and the owner.
